Lesson 1

Wait a minute!  I thought I was special!  That may have been the attitude of the Romans before they received Paul's letter to the church at Rome.

Our first focus scripture in this "Let Us" study is Romans 3:8 "And why not say (as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say), “Let us do evil that good may come”? Their condemnation is just."

To be able to understand this scripture in context, we will need to read (at least) the first three chapters of Romans.  Try to decide what Paul's main message is.  Who is his audience?  What do you know about those who received this letter?  What did they need to learn?  What can I take from this message?
